Original M35 army single decal helmet. Decal is a ghosting to the left side which was painted over. The shell was period field repainted by brush in field grey with a slight texturization. Helmet band is intact with fragments of the original leather liner. Chinstrap is present and also shows wear and damage with the buckle loose from the strap. Size and maker are covered by paint but does match-up with other size 64 shells I have. Shell has a crack to the crown which is likely a result of the concussion from an artillery round going off in close proximity to this helmet. Displays well. Has not been cleaned or altered.
